91 Firebird Front Fender & GROUND EFFECT

I'm replacing my front fenders on my 91 firebird, and I've gotten every single bolt out and disconnected everything. However, the ground effect that runs from the front wheel to the back is still attached after removing all the bolts. I think its apoxied to the fender but i'm not sure. Any tips on getting it off?

Did you know that there are 2 screws that hold the gfx to the fender? You can get to em if you open the door, and peer down in the crack by the rear of the fender. I'm not sure if they're glued on besides that or not.

The front fx are held to the fender by 2 nuts, accessible by removing the inner splash shield (plactic "inner fender") and unbolting them from the wheel well. You'll be hard pressed to access them via the gap through the door.
None of the GFX were bonded (that I know of) with adhesive to the car from the factory.

yeah, let me tell you how hard they to get to from the door. It never really dawned on me that you can get to em from the inner fender.

the only ones that had adhesive were the front fender-to-bumper parts, not the door sills or door panels. the adhesive was about a 1" strip, maybe 1/2" below the top of the GFX panel. you might be able to get at it from below with a large screwdriver, knife, or hacksaw blade. it's like a body tape, so it has some thickness. but be careful, i cracked one of mine at the front corner taking it off. i can dig around for it and try to take a picture if you want too.
