STP wheels on '82 T/A

Axle/Gears: torsen- 3.42
SLP wheels on '82 T/A

I want to know if the backspacing is right on the SLP wheels in some magazines to fit my 82 trans am, also on the newer t/a. they are 16x8. thanks for any info

If you're talking about the 2001-2002 Firebird wheels that SLP sells in its magazine ads, the answer is NO, they won't bolt right on. The backspacing is 2" too much per side. They can be made to fit on there using 2" adapters. The bad news is that the adapters cost almost as much as the wheels. You can get them at SPD, which is www.skulte.com.

SLP also sells Ronal Firehawk wheels which are made to fit 82-92 Camaros and Firebirds. So if those are what you're talking about, then yes- they'll bolt right on.
