I need a new headliner for my 86 SC. All the ones I've seen for sale on the net have a spine running down the middle where the dome light goes.

My headliner doesn't have a spine. One place I called, the woman insisted that my headliner had a spine. Uh, no, I think I would know.

Where's the best place to buy one, if they even exist anymore?

an upholstrey shop should do it for ya....unless ur looking to do it urself,maybe try ebay or third gen resource

 

Yea just have the one in your car recovered again. They can use the old board and just put new foam and fabric on it.

 

yep i had mine redone about 3 yrs ago & they did an awesome job on it! they even done the sunvisors....

I had a guy local do my headliner, sail panels, and sun visors all for 125. Pretty fine job too.
