I need some info plz...I want to replace the steering column from a 92 RS to a 84 Z28 and i'm wondering if it will fit and work...Both cars are automatic,just in case u need to know that..TIA

PS:Reazon is cause i want to put the wiper delay system into my 84 and the dealer told me that it will not fit into my 84 column and it will be better just to switch columns but they dont know if columns are interchangeables...I know the dealer goes by the book so thats why i need some help over here....Thanks again

Oh..I know..this column has VATS and air bags also but i dont really care if it fits..i will not be connecting those anywais...

 

Never have tried it myself but I would have to say no, just because of the wiring harness is most likely different being that far apart let me know what you find out
