formula hood ?'s

did the formula's hoods change over the years? and is the 88 hood diff then the 92 hood?

Axle/Gears: 10-bolt, 4.10 gears
Power bulge hoods are NOT all the same. Well actually the hood portion is. However 1982-1984 hoods have a functional "grill" in the back of the scoop that lets air in or out. Where the later style 1987-1992 power bulge hoods don't. They have a plastic plate that keeps air from flowing through there. It's easy to find a 82-84 hood at the yard and swap that part out.

ok thanks i was wondering b/c i really like the way that hood looks and there is a guy down the street from my friend and he has like a 85 or so sitting at his house and i have never seen it move so i was gona sak him if he wanted to sell it
