was bench racin with a friend today about my firebird and such. i told him how i was gonna get a tach and a bunch of other stuff. he said that he had a brand new autometer tach, but it was dented because it fell off his shelf.

i told him i wanted to see it, it ends up being an older auto meter monster sport-comp with the shift lite, $164.95 new from summit, i got it for $40. not bad.

Where did you get the 383 Fender emblems ? I have been looking for some to go on my 68. THANKS

 

Is it just the silver trim ring that is bent? AutoMeter might sell replacements. I have 2-5/8 AutoMeter sport comps in my Firebird and one of them has a dent in the silver ring too.

ya the ring is dented, my friend dropped it before i bought it, thats why its soo cheap, works fine though.

and the 383 emblems, i pulled them off a wrecked old charger i think it was, i cant really rember, the car was too screwed up to tell, but they are practally mint. they are going on my formula on the fenders once i get the 383 in.
