ok ive been a member here for a while but i never posted the progress of my car so here it go's.. i bought the car for 300 buck when i was 15. it had a wooped 2.8 V6 in it and i was in the process of biulding a mighty 383 stroker in auto tech class my southmore year. the engin had 12:1 compresion high rise pistons a secent race cam and all the other go fast goodies. anyways the body was in bad shape fenders rusted out doors rusted both rear quarters banged up. i dont have a pice of the body to start with i never thought to take pics till i started working on the car. here are some pics of the body

after stripping all body parts off the car everything was sanded to metal primed and sanded agin... i put both new fenders on cut off the old quarters and put new on from gm along with the driver side door skin.

the hood finally comes in affter 3 months of waiting usbody seamed to take for ever to send that thing it had to come from flordia to ohio i really think its a duriable hood and well made but it took alot of work to make fit right and the holes had to be cut out
crap i didnt know we were onley aloud 3 well i dont know how to post pics otherwise soo lets hope they let me slide ive never gotten in trouble on here

as luck would have it my 383 blew up i spun a conecting rod bearing BAD so i had to remover the motor and rebiuld. the motor ran 12.8 on street/slicks but was horible to drive on the street so i went with a mild motor this time. the 383 was bored .030 over and the cylinders didnt look health so i went .060 over which was a bad idea the car always runs hot now... its onley has about 9:1 now with a really mild cam. The car onley will run a 13.8 now... i think i can get better out of it but havent been to the track much...
the new moter is yellow i had a gass leake on to my intake and that made it look like crap... the first motor did look alot better but i had more time in to it...

that spoiler onley came on the 88's and i think it was onley for half the year... came on the original camaro's or what was then know as the rs model
