Approx $200 for bodyparts on repair
If you find the right hook up, at least you guys out there with simply front end damage, should be able to get off quite cheap.
I hit a deer in 99, with only Liability Ins. so of course they weren't going to cover anything. 3-4 years later I'm finally putting her back together. I got all my parts dirt cheap and just did all the work myself with a friend to help. All I really lack after repairs is a quality paint job.
Just so happens I drove it home on Labor day from my buddy's, where we were doing the work on it.
Check sig link for b4 and after shots.

People need to learn to drive. I see so many incompetent drivers on the road, makes me leary of driving on city roads.
I prefer to drive when there are no people on the roads, like 3:30am right after the Hurricane passed. Not a soul on the road, except me, just had to watch out for trees and debris on the road.

Too bad I didn't check back sooner! I could have loaned you some receipts
It does suck that you are going to have a salvage title, but still, I had $5000 in my 84 Z, and they wrote me a check for $1600. I'd be damn happy for what you got! Must've been a nice car!

Wow, I would have went to court over that one. Or atleast filed at which point they would probably offer you more to keep it out of court.

Thats why my car has been apraised for $20,000. If I total it, I have $20,000 to build another one. Even though it's not a daily driver, I still keep full coverage on it.

I was inquiring about stated value insurance on my car when it is done for $7500 and the premiums were $300/month.

Update:
Good news, boys, good news. Nationwide is NOT gonna total my car!! I fought and bitched and they are gonna cut me a check for $8 below the total value and all is well. The difference between totaling my car and not totaling it was $400, well worth the headache IMO.

I finally got a chance to snap a pic or two of the car during some decent weather. I still have a few trim panels and the grille to install but otherwise she's finished!! Sorry the pics are dark, the sun ducked behind a cloud. The car is original teal color but it looks blue.
