Replacing Interior Lights
I just got done changing the lights in the dash on my 86 T/A but i dont know how to change the rest of them. There are the buttons and gain switch and also above the radio pod plus the center consol that i dont know what to do with. Do all of those take the same 194s or something different? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

The AC controls on my '87 T/A have three very small bulbs. Two on top and one on the bottom. I don't have those replacement #'s though. Dome light & hatch are 561 I believe. Easiest way would be to take them out and match them up at the auto parts store.

The only other bulbs i dont know how to replace are the ones for the defroster, gain switch, the ones below the gauges but obove the heater controlls and radio pod. Also the the shifter plate light is another one i dont know how to change. Do i have to disconect everything to the center consol to do it? thanks

I had the same problem with my 86 T/A. The areas that you mention, above dimmer switch, A/C controls and gain switch are some very unique lighting tubes.
They are two grey lines that go into a tube that is about one inch long and has a black cap or top at the the end that has a blank open spot for about 180 degrees of it. I just got them out of junked ones. If you go to the bone yard and find one, carefully take the dash apart and you will see what I mean.
