pinstriping

I was wondering if you guys have any tips for removing the pinstriping on a third gen. I've been out there scraping it with my fingernail because i don't want to mess up the paint. I was just wondering if there is a better way. The stripe around the bottom has been pretty tough. Thanks for the help.

heat gun or blow dryer would be your best bet, thats how i removed the bumper sticker on my car that a previous owner put on. by using hte heat gun however you'll get a big mess underneath the pinstriping, just use 3M adhesive remover to get all that stuff off the car

there is such a thing as a stripe eraser it's a little gum rubber wheel that you chuck in a high speed (18,000+rpm) drill and it takes it off without harm to the paint (as long as you don't hold it in the same spot too long and burn the paint. you can pick one up at your local paint supply store or you can order one they work very fast.

Go to the local auto store and look for a bumper sticker remover in a aerosol can. My friend took off some moroso stickers and tint off my camaro with that stuff and it came off real easy and no messy sticky film left on the car.
