wheel weight...

I really had no idea where to put this but i hope i at least got it close

Hypothetically if you were going to drop a little shy of 2 grand on a set of 18X9.5 inch rims where functionality (ie how heavy they are) is important to you around how much would you expect a single wheel to weigh. Also keep in mind functionality is important but not everything they have to look descent too.

I had some steel Y2K corvette repro's on my 2001 TA, and they weighed 49 lbs a piece. Those were 18x9 if I remember right.

Here's a pic so you can get an idea of the design (it's not common to see these)



If you stick with aluminum, they will be considerably lighter...
