protect t-top weather.

there is this stuff i seen at canadian tire yesterday its to protect weather stripping from cracking and keeps them in perfect shape.
do products like this really work? my t-tops dont leak but after reading all the flippin posts about other peoples that do i feel like it gunna start happening to me anyday. so will this stuff really help??

its prob some sore of silicon type product is it?? All I do to my ttops is give the rubbers a good spray with all purpose silicon spray and let sit for a few mins,,,and it repels water real good. works for me and sometimes i do the door, hood and hatch latches.

thanks. i am gunna pick up that stuff tomorrow>but it dont make a diffrence on how long they last? mine r in good shape and i want it to stay like that.
