Manual Windows to Power?

Has anyone ever had their manual windows converted to power, and if so, how much did this cost and what type of shop did you go to?

Thanks

Our shop charges $350 to convert to power windows using a kit from a company called SPAL, which is a good company for aftermarket power acc. That is an avg price for power windows around my area. Install on our cars by a decent experienced installer should only take about an hour or so. I installed the kit in my camaro in just over an hour. So when you are shopping around, go to a shop that has done plenty of power windows and ask them for a time estimate. Any longer than two hours max for our cars is too long. Our shop is an aftermarket stereo/alarm/tint shop, so you could probably start by checking the stereo/alarm shops in your area first.

I just went to the local pick your part yard.. picked up everything I needed for 40 bucks (canadian).. and put it in.. it was very easy to do.. almost plug & play.. picked up both actuators with motors on em, the rubber boots to go between the door & body, and a good chunk of the wire harness.. did buy new switches though.

I went with the SPAL power windows over a "factory" conversion because the aftermarket install is 10Xs easier. I know Redraif also did a similar upgrade, although she may have used a different brand. If you're gonna do the install yourself, check ebay, I got a SPAL kit for like $60-75. The switches, however, will probably run you another $40.
