Found pics of my old 85 Z

Finally found some pics of my old 85 Z

It was pretty much the same situation as my current project. Front end wreck with slight frame damage, although the first project took about a year to complete. Damn frame shop had the car for about 6 months, but I really can't complain about that. They took the car on as a back-burner project to save me some money. My girlfriend is the proud current owner

Anyways, here's the pics.

Have yet to get a paintjob, when I do it will be the Blue that my bosses Benz is, dont know how to describe it, lol But here is how my car was... Not quite as bad, but pretty evil. I got it, the day Idid I took the nose and front end off, and had to wait for $450 to have a body shop streighten the part where the rail bolts to the frame with the 4 bolts per side...

From this:
*it hit a motercycle back in '94

To this:

And Finally this:

Did all that in less than 2 weeks. Could have done it faster but didnt have the 450. Took the body shop about 2 days to streighten it, mabey less

You did a great job on that ratdude

It's always great to see these cars fixed rather than going to the boneyard.

It would have been soo expensive if i didnt have a donor car. Earlier this year, I bought a Green Sport Coupe with a near mint interior and a not too shabby exterior, for $450, and It had a horrible knock in it. I dont remember what we thought it was but it turned out to be a loose piston, lol. So it threw a rod and wrapped it around the crankshaft. I took the engine out in shop, but now had a camaro stuck in my garage. When i found that red one, It was perfect becaue it has 47000 origional miles, and was $900. So I swapped in the Nose, hood, dashboard, headliner, and all the plastic panels because it had the cover and the red didnt, and I have subs so i wanted it, didnt want to drill holes and mess up. I got some other stuff too but dont remember, lol Here is a pic of it:
