I have an off the wall question. Last night my Brother-in-law gave me a set of front seats out of a 1977 Firebird. I have an 1984 Z. Will these seats fit? He was just going to toss them so I figured I would take them and try it. Thanks for your help guys/gals.

 

I think it would be awesome if it could work. So many people put 4th gen mods in (probably because they bolt right in or almost right in). I'd like to see a 3rd gen with some 2nd gen stuff going on.

 

I do believe you have to drill one of the sets of holes for 2nd gen seats to fit in to the 3rd gens. I know thats what you have to do in order for the 3rd gen seats to fit in a 2nd gen car.

Other then that 3rd & 4th gen seats fit both in 3rd gen cars.
