Reunited used door panels to used top black piece

I have a good set of door panels and a good set of used top black pieces . I cant remove the fasteners without breaking off the plastic studs on the top black pieces , so I had to improvise and fiberglass the two together . I have done this on one side , but I really dont want to have to do it to both . Any ideas to mate the two together without glueing or fiberglassing together ? Now if the top piece goes bad , I have to get another whole door panel . Thanks for any and all replies !!!

The fasteners are removable, they're just a pain in the **** to do and they'll probably cut the hell out of your fingers. Least they did mine. Then you get to play hell putting them back on.

I removed the two pieces by unscrewing the nuts. No biggie.
