Help!!!!

those of you that have painted your interior panels what did you use to get the glue off you know the glue that holds the carpet onto the panel got the carpet off but there is excess glue and it is really hard to get off

use krylon fusion paint i did two panels but the glue is really hard to get off i have been using De-Solve-It its like oarnge clean sortof and made it alot easier then when i wasnt using any chemicals but there has to be an easier way
