Help!! What can I do with this hood?

Hey, I have an '88 RS I got. When I got it, the guy also gave me an unpainted fiberglass hood with it. I then got an '84 z28 parts car, and it has the exact same hood, only steel.

It's got like two tear ducts in it. I'm pretty sure it's the hood that the Iroc's with hood louvers have, although it's kinda hard to tell if it's the same kinda hood as there are no louvers in it. If ya know what I mean. So, with this hood, can I just get some hood louvers and put them in? What about the z28 hood blisters?

And if I can indeed put either the blisters or the louvers in, it would probably be wise to go with the blisters if I'm putting 91 RS ground effects on it right? louvers and the new style gfx would probably clash too much right?

I hope someone knows what I mean hehe

and thanks a million for any help.

the 84 hood probably won't accept the louvers since there isn't any holes in it. It should be fiberglass since that's what they came with stock. A hood like an IROC hood would have the holes drilled for the louvers to bolt onto. hope this helps.

if they are the same, then the glass hood he gave you is an 82-84 z28 hood. they came in steel and glass. the louvers or blisters will not work in these hoods, since the indentations are longer and narrower than that of the 85-92 iroc and z28 hoods.

Hmmmm, so what does this mean? I can't put louvers or blisters in it? Just leave it how it is? I mean it looks kinda cool and all, but it doesn't look complete. Just having those ducts go to two holes....

Well, I guess it's cooler than a stock hood

But do you think this hood would look out of place on a camaro with all 91 ground effects?

and about those stickers.... I'm not really doing anything with the z28, but if I do maybe I'll get back to you
(btw I don't even know what they look like hehe)

and thanks again!
