I've been reading all the posts I could find on this topic for weeks now, and from what I've gathered: Don't go Soff Seal of any other aftermarket brand, use GM's stuff. One person said not to get the stuff Year One sells, but they sell GM stuff also, and a couple of you said to get it from GM Parts Direct, but I can't find anything on there.
Add up all the GM stuff in the Next Generation cat from Year one and it comes to about $700. Yeah, I need it all too.
Any suggestions or tips?
Anyone see the T-Top deflector that is plastic instead of rubber that is made by GM? Any better?
My doors sag quite a bit, if I don't fix that first, it's still gonna leak, isn't it?
I'm tired of grabbing a towel everytime it rains, lol.

You can check my sig for many GM part numbers.
GMParts direct... people p&m about them because of shipping prices... everyone want's something for nothing. Even after shipping, it's still better than aftermarket crap. I'd quote Jim but, I've used his quote allotment for the month
You can check the p/n's on www.parts.com You can get wholesale from other dealerships other then Directparts.
As far as the 'deflector', GM revised it and the top seals after 90 (or 91 ?, don't remember when really). The plastic piece and revised seals (with a 'gutter') are all you can get now.
Year Ones' repo hatch seal it total s---. The only thing right about it is the fact it's long enough to go around the hatch opening. Soff seal is anything but soft. JCwhitney... stick with what you have.
Opinions vary about OEM or not and going OEM is the only way to assure proper seals/fit, that's mine. They lasted this long...

ok, I found the parts on GM Parts direct now, the do seem to be the cheapest. And that's after the killer shipping charge.

What about the door sag? Should I focus on that first? What do I have to do to fix it?
