Do any other members on this site own a 15th anniversary Trans Am? If so could you please send me pics of your interior and exterior? I have a project 15th anniversary I am working on and I believe alot of the parts arent stock like the front end, It looks larger and lower than the ones ive seen in pictures and it has the lettering "Trans Am" written into the front end instead of the blue letters like its supposed to be. Anyone know if that is stock or not. Also the pics of other 15th anniversarys ive seen have like a white louver over the tail lights and mine do not. Also my recaro seats dont have the white leather on the sides. If someone could help me out with this I would greatly appreciate it.I would like to have a reference as to what is stock and what is not so I can get it changed back to stock. Thanks alot!

save some hassle and do an internet search.

there are a few registrys for that car that you'll find all the info needed. also try asking in the michigan section, there are alot of guys who own those cars around here. one in particular owned close to 10 at one time.

 

If it was as easy as just searching the net I wouldnt be asking on here I need specifics, what ive found on the net doesnt tell me much.

 

i'm sure someone here knows....it's the holidays. i personally did a search and recieved over 14,000 links so there should be something out there for you.

Do you have a picture of the front end? How does it look larger and lower than what you have seen? Is the Trans Am indented in the bumper insert? If it is its normal and all you need is the blue decal that goes inside it.

The tail lights are supposed to have white on the raised parts. white PONTIAC lettering, and a blue bird in the center.

If I recall correctly the leather around the inserts is a light gray. Your seats could have been re-upholstered.

The bumper cover. Once again please ignore the decals ond GTA emblem! See the Trans Am is indented into the insert and is missing the blue decal. All 15ths have the 82-84 front end with aero package which means the lower gfx and solid inserts instead of the grill type (see my 82 in the sig pic).

The seats. And the wheels. The wheels are supposed to have a blue stripe and blue in the pontiac lettering. Sorry for combining the 2 in 1 picture but three attached pictures is the limit.

Dont sell those seats and rims please!!!! Please tell your friend I want them and I can send him money to hold onto them for me. I really need those seats and rims badly. It currently has white momo rims on it. Someone must have removed the white tail light cover cause it is not there. Please reply or send me a PM asap on how i can buy those seats and rims.

 

Also the seats and rims you sent me a pic of are those the same ones for sell?

I have a 15th that I am restoring. For original "before" pics, search the readers rides section under my user name (1989t-topGTA). I have since had the car repainted and put new decals on it. I have also installed a ZZ3 crate motor with 4.10 gears in place of the factory 3.73's. It is 1 of 500 5-speed cars made. Let me know what questions you may have as I own quite a bit of literature on there cars.

 

The seats are mine. FYI I called dibs on Georges seats about a year ago. I am still waiting for him to find some boxes to ship them, as soon as he does, they are mine j/k

Look in the classified section, I think their is someone in CT w/ some 15th wheels for sale.

Their is also a set of 15th taillights on ebay right now.

Yep,
I have the whole set. I have yet to take a picture of the driver's side front seat, or the whole rear set .
I will soon, when I complete my move.
