Now It's almost complet rhe tail light swap took a bit of rewiring but is all done omn 1 side......

How to yank the GFX's off i busted the 2 side sey's but my Qyestion is will the GFX's detach from the rear bumper or will that need top be replaced???
I replaced front bumper car of a Drunk driver hiting it....

you need a new bumper... the rear quarters gfx come off, but you need a new bumper.

 

so the GFX won't come off the rear bumper???

The ground effects on the front and rear are actually part of the bumper itself. The only seperate peices are the quarter panels.

 

I all ready swapped out the front bumper......

it was the rear bumper I didn't have one of ok so off to find a rear bumper I go.....

Thats weird. I would think that they should come off. I have never owned a GTA, almost did at the last car auction i went to. Sold a 89 GTA for 750 bucks, black with T-Tops..... didn't have the money. I am poor as ****. Anyhow, I can see why you want them off, i dont like them at all, the GFX on the bumpers and sides looked as if they have been glued on, they totally dont match the rest of the body, and they look like some cheap body kit made by TYPE R Racing. Thats just one mans opinion.... Did you get the bumper with the black mini bumbers ? or a plain one? or an older style with Louvers ?

 

It's got the little black gizmo's.....on it it cam off of a 88 firebird....

The GTA was nice car ......But it got hit so I'm clone A Buddy's firebird and i think the GTA is going to look better be cause while his is black and silver mine is going to be Black and gold still.
Jist no gold GFX's i'm going to Pain't the Gold strip on th Body like he did his silver...
