converting 82 trans am power doors to manual
i have heard that 82 door parts are unique to 82 model year ? is this true ? which parts ? i want/need to convert my 82 trans am power doors over to manual by swapping regulators, what all parts would i need, will 83-92 regs work for 82 doors ? what all would i need to swap? and where will the power doro harnesses disconnect at ? does it all disconnect under rear of console and thats it ?
is there anone who would swap me my power parts for their manual parts ?
thanks for anything

I don't know about power windows, but I added power locks and power mirrors to my 82 (already had power windows).
I got parts from other year F-bodies and it was all fine. Taking OUT power locks and mirrors is easy. Just remove the panels, drilll out the lock motor rivets, remove the mirror, and swap in a non power mirror. You can even pull all the wiring out of the door then too. It all disconnects at a body harness behind the dashboard on the passenger side just in front of the driver door.
Sorry I'm no help on the windows, which is the main part!

Transmission: Completed
Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
The regulators should swap right over; the difference was in the design of the guide tracks for the glass itself.
