Is it possable to get replacement VIN decals for door jam??

I plan on getting my car painted a different color and want to peel the old VIN decals off the driver door. Is it possible to get replacements and if so where??

I believe that pertains only to such things as taking a VIN plate from one car and putting it on another, or making a VIN plate for your car with another VIN number. If its just replacing the original VIN plate (or in this case, sticker) with a new one, I don't see why that would be a problem.
