Rear cargo hatch cover?

Rear cargo hatch cover?
This is a question regarding the flat, flip top hatch cover, not the roll-up cover.
I read somewhere that these will not fit the cars with the hatch pulldown motor? True?
If not, how easy are these items to install into a car that was never equipped with one? With the T-Top bags be affected?

they were offered on cars with the pull down, to install them you need both that part and the panel that covers the hatch motor. I installed one in my Formula that was not originally equipped and can be done really in about 15 minutes. mine took a little longer cause i recovered the door and panel in speaker box carpeting. for a t-top car of course you would need the back panel for a car w/t-tops and the power pull down (86-92 had the pull down). Not an issue for me since i covered it but for some looking for the right combo of color/t-top/power pull down could take some time.
aslo the door thing is different for the 82-85 cars as it is longer cause those cars did not hav ethe pull down motor.
hope i helped. you can PM or email me if you have any other questions i'll try to answer to the best i can help.
I got mine from IrocZDave
