questions about gauge waring lights
ok i have a 91 camaro RS i was woundering if i have a warning light that goes on if my gas gets to low did they put them on third gens if so was it an option?

nope... as far as i know, GM never had them on 3rdgens...
but if you could build a circuit that came on at a specific resistance, then you could make one...
i thought about doing it one time for the heck of it, but never got around to it.

I am not sure about you guys, but my gas guage is a bit volatile. If I hit the gas I get a full tank, if I hit the brakes it says empty. If yours are anything like mine, then the indicator would go off with even a half a tank if you were to use the brakes with any significant force.

yup.
athough if i were to do it, id also put a delay on it... like new cars have...
see, when it sees "full tank" from the sender, it doesnt snap the needle over like ours... it slowly moves it to full tank..... so if it goes to "full" then back to normal ( like leaving a stoplight swiftly) the needle bearly moves at all.
theres alot of lil things like that id like to do someday... i'll concentrate on them more after the big things are done (engine, chassis, brakes, ect)
