Alright gusy, the local junk yard has a '99 Camaro with the itneror still intact. The necter console in its entirety is $40. The problem is its an automatic. Is there any way to make this one work until i can get the manual shift plate? can i justtake those little plastic things out that guide it? I dotn want to cut wires or resize them. I just want to put this on. How can i do it?

 

Just take the auto plate out and put in a manual boot. Thats it. Other than the plate, the consoles are the same.

 

You know a firebird console is the same right? Right now i have a auto and im looking for a manual console plate. The auto looks like it wont require a ton of work to make it work i just havent got the chance to do it yet, waiting for a warm saturday.
