RAII hood fitment

I was wondering if any one could help me. I purchased the RAII hood and installed it on my 83 TA. I am having all sorts of problems getting it too fit right. I took someones advise and "modified" the upper radiator crossmember, this helped but i am still having problems. One one side the hood sits above the fender and too high around the headlights. The passenger side fits ok after some persuading. I also purchased two new fenders for other reasons and the hood still sits the same with both fenders. If anyone has any advise please let me know, i will try to get some pics if that will help. Thanks

I had to actually cut a small oval hole to allow the radiator fill cap room to allow the hood to sit lower.. I also had to dremel the two bolt holes for the hood latch to allow the hood sit lower at the front..

Thats the best I can offer..

Thanks I going to try and cut where the radiator cap sits as soon as I get home. I have already elongated the latch holes to adjust it. thanks

Caleb I bet a walk from your service department to the body shop would result in some better fitment

I actually got a pretty good fit. I worked on it all weekend, I will post some pics as soon as I get them. I think you went the smart way Danny with the Harwood fiberglass hood.
