Driver-passenger seat swap
Like most Camaros, my driver seat is worn out. I would buy a new seat cover set, but the foam is shot too. I was thinking of trying to find a good passenger seat and swapping the mechanicals. Is this at all possible?? Good looking passenger seats are plentiful (read that as cheap) compared to a good driver. I have searched for a good driver seat, but the ones I find are in the $300 range.
I don't want to drop the money on the replacement seat covers if my foam is not any good too. I might look for a non matching driver and then buy the covers. The back seats are in excellent shape. Does anyone sell just the fronts?? I tried the usuals, but they only sell the kits with rears.
The seat is so nasty and it bothers me. I wish I wasn't so cheap!!
Thanks

Go 4th gens...... im only ganna say it once they are wayyyyy more comfortable and well worth there weight in gold! I was 1st hesatant if i would like the look of em in my car but when i got a full set for 200can(at our local junkyard) i put them in and took it for a rip and i fell in love!!!
anyhow i say you can get a pass seat and bolt it to the drivers tracks...but then youll have no where to screw you seat belt guide to..and youll have the release latch (to get in the back seat) if you got one, it will be on the wrong side on the back of the seat.
Also fiero seats bolt to our tracks if you can get a set of those.
