any better door locks?

I was messing with my car today and i noticed that the old key to the old locks that came in the car would open the doors if i jiggled it in the new locks!

This really sucks! My locks are all new and installed exactly like the old ones so i know its not a issue with the rods etc.

Does anyone carry better locks for our cars?

Axle/Gears: ones that turn.
Given the millions of vehicles with these type of locks, and the limited number of combinations that can be made on a key, there's a good chance that there are several GM's that your keys could open.
I found out by trial and error that the door keys from an 87 Cutlass would operate the locks to the T-tops from my 86 Firebird parts car.

i've seen round tumbler style locks incorporated into cars a couple times, kinda sweet in a different way
