Swap to 4th gen dash or not swap to 4th gen dash... that 'tis the question.

Ok, got a line on a 4th gen T/A dash minus gauges for $200. I'm kinda ridin the fence here on this one so here's a pic of my interior. I've got all black interior panels now ready to be put in along with a new set of black carpet. The dash is light grey but have a hook up at an upholstry shop that can dye all the pieces black and have it look factory. I plan on making a sheet metal panel that will hold some Autometers or something like that.

What do you think I should do?

i say do it, ive seen a few peoples conversion swap and it makes a huge difference for the interior, especially if you do a whole 4th gen swap, as for the automters this is what im doing, although you have to have the stock cluster to do it this way.

I think your interior looks sweet as it is! I love the 3rd gen Firebird dashes... if it were a camaro I'd say sure go for it The interior design is a major reason i chose a 3rd gen bird over the camaro. But anyway, for the work involved I don't see it being that much better in the end. I'm not a stock ****, but i think some things that came on 3rd gens don't need to be updated to still look good.
