ok heres a quick question i have a 92 camaro rs and i cant seem to figure out how to take the head off the light activater... the head on top of the metal rod that u pull to turn your lights on... anyone know how?

 

You can release the shaft with **** from under the dash...there's a tab on the headlight switch you need to press to make it release.
If you have a small mirror, pull the **** out, then place it on the dash behind the ****. You will see the small spring holding the **** against the shaft...just use a small jewellers screwdriver to push on the spring, and the **** will pull right off.

Saves skinned knuckles...

 

... well actually i did end up getting it out... now tab on my car just wiggle and pull well thanks any way
