Hi. I am restoring my 89rs, and need some good tips etc. I have read alot on here about this topic, but need some additonal advice.
The roof of the car has been treated for rust with the por15 stuff. what should I do next on top of the por 15?
Also the hood paint is peeling a bit but no rust. Should I sand or strip the paint with por15 strip remover and then add por15 rust protection?
Since these are the only two areas that need work, what should I do with the rest of the car? The rest of the car is in great condition, no rust etc., and the paint is still good.
Should I sand or strip the rest of car too, or just try to match the color code on the roof and hood. Thanks again for any and all input. This is first time for me doing this kind of work, so hoping to do it right, one step at a time.

someone used por-15 on the visible outside roof?

strip that stuff.....prep the metal and paint the car right.
