New window felts or restored ?

Does anyone know of a place where I can get new window felts for third gens? I just need the the little things that have the fury velvet(?) material on them that guide the window up. Those that I have scratch my window and I intend to have the windows tinted again soon... can't have them scratching again.

Alternatively, does anyone know of a means of restoring these things ?

Just gotta replace them. They arent too difficult to replace. Door panel has to come off, and also the weatherstripping at the front edge of the door pulled back (remove two screws) then the front track with the plastic triangle at the front of the glass has to be removed (3 screws). Once you get those off you will have access to the 5/6? screws that hold it on! Ok maybe a lil more complex then I thought. I belive they were all 10MM, had to use an open end small wrench on the ones blocked by the glass slightly (just push the glass towards the inside of the car and you will have barely enough room!

I really dont think they cost me more then 100 bucks? Maybe less cant find my receipt!

Hope this helps somewhat!

They run about $20 each from the dealer. I just replaced all four of mine, and it is much better. Less window rattle.

Not sure if I interpreted the original post correct but, I believe the felts in question are the little 'L' pieces on the inner door that have felts on the legs of them (pic below). Not sure the name and they aren't in my collision guide.
You can go to the dealer and ask though. They do have detailed breakdowns that will most likely list that specific part.
Unfortunately, there are no part numbers stamped into the pieces so that limits my aid to this...

If they're the things inside then I believe 1 A Auto sells them for around $10. http://www.1aauto.com/1A/Weatherstri...d/RPCA185/3682

Man when I saw that I was about to order them but the shipping is 6 bucks that seems allittle much for them considering they would fit in a oversized envolope.

I think I will check the dealership before I order them now.

I wonder if that kit will cover both doors.... I'll call them today and find out. If you hit the dealership, get a part number on the felts.
