4th gen center console

4th gen center console

ok ive done a search and am still left a bit confused. i have an 88 camaro. i want to put a 4th gen center console in. what will and will not work? and what do i need for the radio to work, is that also out of a 4th gen or is it a 3rd gen firebird radio pod?

3rd gen firebird pod or cutting your camaro pod is required. 4th gen console of choice is the 97-02 models since they come with usable cup holders. Manual console is easiest to install, auto console is a bit harder to install.

I agree the manual console is the easiest to install. It weighs a lot less than my stock console.
