Need some help figuring out my hatch

Car: 89 bird, 86.5 D21 Hardbody duringwinter
Engine: 305, VG30e
Transmission: 700r4, dunno the other one :)
Need some help figuring out my hatch

its not lining up right, i tightened the two sets of 2 each bolts on the inside, the 2 sets of 2 on the outside hinges and all the bolts under the plastic thing and its still just this one side not lining up right, its sticking too far out, nothing looks bent

can anyone help? asap please only sunny like once a month lately!

You have to unbolt the struts.They "push" the Rr deck lid outward when closed.You also should try to loosen the nuts that hold the deck lid to the glass.Then align it to the body(dont let the deck lid lock).Slowly lift the hatch & tighten the nuts(or tighten the nuts from the inside).Check the fit,if its good.Then put everything back together.
