My dash pad shakes at high speeds and it is obviously loose when I shake it by hand. Does anybody know how to fix this???

Ummm. . . . Reattach it? Or try taking it off to see of the little rubber pads are still underneath it in the middle.

find out where it's rattling and make that loose spot tight again.

I think I've got it as tight as it'll get...some of the shaking seems to come from the dash itself.

Put some foam in between the dash and dash pad and then screw it it. If the dash is actually shaking tighten it up ... aside from that get a better balanced drive shaft?

I had a pretty big problem with this to a while ago. My dash was very noisy going over bumps and bad roads and got very annoying and sounded like it was going to fall appart. What i did was make sure that everything was tight and it still dident sound better. i listend more carfully and found out that it was acually the air vents, i think there are 5, 2 on drivers side, 2 in middle and 1 on passenger side. i looked up the article on how to fix them so they stay till better and BANG, my dash doesnt make a noise. I just took the vents out and placed a small piece of sound deading materal (thats all i could find, many other things would work) on one side of the vent and put them back. I dont know if the vents are your problem but this sure did help my dash noise problem out A LOT.

I had the same problem. To solve this I took the pad off and put a piece of velcro under the bumper pads in the middle and tightened the bolts and screws. I did notice on the right hand sidde a piece of plastic was cracked aand I couldnt get the bolt out because the space is so small so I put another washer on it and put the dash pad back on and my problem is fixed.

I doubt its your dash pad that actually has a problem. More likley you have a high speed vibration problem. Try having your driveshaft and tires balanced.

mine used to shake really bad....on the passenger side. So...I just took a piece of thick rubber and shoved it between the passenger side A-piller and the dash pad....my dash is solid as a rock...doesn't vibrate one bit....can't see the rubber at all. Fixed it completely!
