bent seat.. Fixable??
Hey, im might be getting black leather seats, the passenger seat is said to be bent from an accident, but can be fixed by replacing the upper frame....
does anyone know anything about this??? how much it might cost or what kind of work is involved?

If it's not too severe, you could probably just bend it back in shape (the frame isn't so stout that you can't)/ It just appears the upper half has a mild twist that could be fixed by bolting it in the car, bracing one side (depending on which way it needs to twist) with a 2x4 (and padding on the end touching the seat) and pulling or pushing it back into shape.
You could also take the cover off and do the same on a workbench or floor. Just my opinion though...

ah yes, i've been in your shoes before. simple fix...
two 2x4's, on in the front, one it the back. make sure they are long enough to grip on each end. use a c clamp to clam the boards togeather on each end. bolt the seat into the car. one person on one end, one on the other, gently twist the seat back into position by pushing and pulling on the 2x4s ends. do not use too much force or you could bust the seat frame in half
i bought some 4th gen seats off the classifieds years back and the drivers side was warpped like this (i never trust anyone in there anymore) i used that method and the outcome was fantastic. couldnt even tell it was damaged.
