t-top help

well my t-top on my drivers side has been rattleing for the longest time now and i finally got some time to tear into it and see why. well there are these larger plastic peices on the metal rod that holds the t-top down but on the back it was slid all they way in. i noticed that the front one was using a spring/clip combo to hold it in place. i need a p/n for this or any other ways to fix it. can anyone get this for me?

Try the junk yard. Where I leave, old t-tops are all over the yard for some reason. If not, try ebay.

Someone at GM should be able to tell you where you can get the part you need (since they don't carry ANYTHING we need anymore). I'm not sure what you're problem is but, I've fixed some of my leaks with an adhesive similar to roofing cement but, it's made for weather stripping and t-tops (I can't think of the name of it right now). You can get it at most parts stores. I'm not talking about "gobbing" it all over and making a mess. I mean apply it under the metal parts (where only you know it's there). Hope this helps.
