Order a new lock cylinder. First pull out the hatch surround trim by removing the 4 large plastic screws and two phillips screws near the hatch pull-down unit. To remove the lock cylinder pull off the latch actuator cable by prying off the white plastic part with a flat blade screwdriver. Once you have the cable off you'll see a spring metal clip holding on the lock cylinder from the inside. Pry that off with a screwdriver. It looks as if you'll be able to bang the sheet metal surrounding the lock with a hammer backed up with a metal block on the opposite side. Once you have it bent back into shape install the new lock cylinder and spring clip and pop on the hatch latch actuator cable.

the LOCK

I had a problem with my rear lock froze up on my 85 T/A . I went to a local locksmith shop and had a new clinder put in( they couldent get it open with all the oil thay could get in it) for $70. they are able to make your org. key work with it too!
