I see a lot of t-tops for sale with some outer trim piece falling off as shown in the attached picture. Does anybody know what part that is and if it can be replaced?

From a broken top that I took apart, I know that there is a rubber seal that screws to the part of the top that is glued to the glass but it doesn't look like that seal can fall apart like the one in the picture.

Any help would be appreciated as I am trying to acquire an extra pair that is in good condition or easily fixed. From what I have found, the t-top parts either come off easily with a few screws or are attached with some kind of glue and are almost impossible to take off

yes that peice of rubber can be replaced it comes with the seal kit you get from GM i am sure.

 

Anyone know if you can get just thes pieces, and if so, where? I replaced my T-top seals and T-bar (mine blew off going down the road!) last summer and these were not in the kit. I'd like to finish up my seals and do this part too.....

You can find the pieces-parts numbers in my sig. The rubber piece that commonly pulls off the glass is the awning and has been upgraded to a plastic piece.
