Where can I get the Glass for a Gauge Cluster?

I installed overlays for my gauges, and my STUPID friend scratched up the glass/plastic peice that goes over the gauges. I want to order a new one, or buy a used one in good condition...

Does anyone know where I can get one or does anyone have one? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Well you've got a couple of options here, try to get a new one from the dealer. Go to a junkyard and try your luck, or buy some acrylic plastic and make your own using the old one for a template.

i think it may be the cheapest to go to a junkyard and buy it, but they may not let you just buy the plastic. Otherwise i say go and buy a piece of acrylic or plexi glass, Then you could be sure you have a nice clean scratch free piece.

Check a junkyard first, then ebay, then a GM dealership.

if you want, you can try to polish your current one.

basicly you get some plastic polishing compound and keep at it until it looks like new. couldnt hurt.

I wouldn't use real glass,for safety reasons.

Toothpaste can be used with suprising results to remove light scratches on the plastic.
I had an anoying scratch that just disapeared after some Colgate.
