What to use on Leather?

I've tryed several protectants on my new SS seats...and it seems like nothing is really making them shine very well...it will shine for a few minutes...then..it will go away. Does anyone have any recommendations on what to use to have that nice, dark, deep shine for leather seats? Thanks

soap, water and toothbrush to get them clean..........then i use meguiars gold leather since it's reasonably priced.

leather isn't suppose to shine like tire wet if it's in good shape.

3M REFRESH cleaner and conditioner here.
I buy it at a local shop for $9buks a bottle

I like it over the meguiars gold better its not as thick and applies much easier. Both the cleaner and loation.

Lexol has been working very well for me. It keeps a shine as much as leather should, but it is a bit expensive like $12 a bottle or something... nothing in comparism to what the seats cost tho.

"most" black magic products have silcone in them which causes more harm then good.

exactly...I won't touch that stuff...way to oily...

I just bought some Meguairs Rich Leather cleaner/conditioner in a spray bottle, before I bought it..I opened it to feel the texture of it..and it feels pretty good...I'm about to go try it...it was $7.00 bucks a for a tiny bottle...

I've been using their stuff for years! Especially the tire products, the stuff you apply on, not the spray. Never found anything that could beat it for shine, how long it lasts, and it doesn't throw it all over your car when driving. These days I know their interior protectant contains a plasicizer and a UV blocker, but I do think they did have the lousy stuff in it a few years back. I still never had a problem with any of it.

I use Lexol as well...that's what many upholstery shops have told me to use. I am very happy with the results each time I use it.
