I am 16 and on a budget. I want my camaro to look like the 88's and above, but I want to buy a pre 88. can i make put newer body panels, gfx, to make it look like an 88? what im asking is if there is any major body panel changes throughout the camaro's life. would i be able to swap taillights?

 

85-90 z28's and irocs, 88 sc, and 89-90 rs are all the same as far as body style. if you get any 82-84 camaro, or an 85-87 sc, berlinetta or lt, you will have to change the rear bumper, the front bumper, and add all of the gfx. it's not an extremely expensive conversion. you could probably get everything for a few hundred bucks if you do your shopping. there were no major body changes from 82-92. you can easily make anything from those years fit your car.

 

Good to be young and have a f-body. Get the 91-92 rs ground affects. THats the reason i bought a 91 was teh gfx. I think they were the best lookign year for the camaro!

 

my dream car is anything v8 black 5 speed ttops with the 85-90? looking front facia rims and gfx.

im planning a simaler swap on a new purchace within a year or two
