84 berenetti shift ****

ok guys i have a camaro f41( basically berrenetti) and the shift **** wil not come off i tried turning it off but that didnt work so i searched the board and people sayed there is a riong that hold it on and to pry it of with a screwdriver or sometihng with a fine tip but i cant find teh little fastener can somebody please help me

i cant stand this black cricle **** any longer

on the berlinettas you gotta pop off the black part you push down to shift with i believe.

yeah you have to pull the black button off first. Once you have that off you have access to that ring.
