I have a Trans Am steering wheel, the one with the 3 spokes....you kno9w what i mean. Anyway it has that extra leather wrap around it and im not crazy about it. A buddy of mine has the same wheel, no leather. My question is can i cut off the leather? Whats under it? Is it difficult? In the future i wanna get a wheel skin but it wont fit with the leather. Any help would be appreciated..

Are you sure it is leather? I know there are some that looks like leather, but its really rubber...and others that are covered in vinyl which gets all gooey. I had a vinyl covered one. You can take it off, there is just a metal wheel underneath....it will be considerably thinner once you do it though.

I took the leather of my GTA wheel, & if it the same you will have the regular plastic under. Now the thing is that it will look nasty because you will have all the glue stuck to it.
Wat I did was to clean it with kitchen soap and that yellow and green sponge that my wife uses for the dishes. not to hard on the plastic because it has a thin layer of smooth plastic and under it is like a foam material. when getin rid of the glue dont wory if you can still see it, the important thing is that you can not feel it. I mean that is smooth to the tuch. Then go buy that black paint for plastic & that makes it look like new.
I did mine like a year ago and it still looks good today.
