quarter panel got crushed

i dont have a camera so no pics, can anyone give me any details on replacing the RR quarter panel on my 88 iroc, it got pushed in rite on the corner where the panel meets the taillights so the taillight area needs to be fixed too, i dont even know how this happend i was working in the oilfield at the time and my car was parked at the yard for over 48 hours.

That blows some serious ***, man - I'm sorry to hear about that

Depending on how pushed-in "crushed" is, I would have it pulled out instead of swapping out a quarter, but please do NOT quote me on this; I'm simply saying this based on what I've read here and a few pics that I've seen. Swapping a quarter can cost some serious bucks if you're not doing it yourself (and cost you some serious work if you ARE doing it yourself). Do you have full-coverage insurance? Depending on your deductible, they may cover a hit'n'run. Again, I'm sorry to hear about the IROC - it hits a little close to home since I have an '89

this happend a while back, its been parked because my back got trashed and no cant afford insurance,i just got the car paid off one month before this happend...so i droped down to liability....thats how stuff happens, anybody reading this should consider keeping or getting full coverage on thier car,BTW there is a crease(sic?) so i dont think it can be pulled

Id be checking the yard for signs of damage on another car or truck. AKA the sucker who hit you and left. Look for anyone driving a strange car out of the blue. Sucks when you can't even trust the people you work with.

UPDATE:

I got pics now...

You can see where I hit a deer(back in 2000)

Better pic.

And now for the quarter panel...

Its hard to tell what hit it, the contact point was round and maybe an inch and a half in diameter... the bumper cover got messed up too.

DAMN!!! YOu're going to have to cut and weld on a new one. That sucks, I've no idea of the cost, but it'll be alot. Maybe $400-800 just to have the quarter purchased and welded on?
