yep been sitting for 3+ years.
all that stuff will be in the trash before it sees the road anyway.
after paint i plug in tranny
and finish up with suspension and wheels.
probally going to do jus a simple brake job and wait on the 4 disk set up. unless i can find a deal somewhere

That's good to hear. We let our van sit in the driveway for a year or two, and the rotors completely rusted out. They still looked shiney on the outside, but when you tried to drive it, and pressed on the brakes, it would crush the rotors! So yeah. Just thought I'd share

That blue is pretty sweet looking not a big fan of silver but they do look good next to each other. I have been looking for a blue i like.Make sure u post some pics when its done.I have painted in a garge worse than that.Yours is spot less compared to mine lol. How u like that Zgrip?
I think it'll look great, I've always liked the blue/silver combo.
Is this your first attempt at painting, or are you pretty experienced?
What did you pay for all the paint, including primer?

the z grip seems to work nice, its been a long time since i used bondos. but it goes on pretty smoth and is not very chalky. i have not found any lumps in it either.
oneblinky, this is my first real paint job i have done other little projects and repairs but nuthing this extensive.

Is that Omni reducer I see?
I know for a fact that you want to stay within brands for paint jobs, so if you use HOK primer, use and HOK paint. I am pretty sure that Omni is the type of reducer you want to use with PPG paints. I am not positive. But I just wanted to say something before you potentially ruin all the beautiful paint.
BTW, dont forget to wet the floor before you paint.

I went with the cheap ebay stuff... So my pile is significantly smaller
, but what the hell.

I'd suggest going to your hardware and grabbing on of these, they help a buttload.
