Unless you are looking to restore the car to stock, or something along those lines. I would not even bother. I ripped my insulator out a couple of years ago. And I think most guy's here have done the same.

They serve no real purpose except dust collecting.

Thanks deadbird.

The car is up for a photo shoot by the Westcoast Editor of Hemmings Muscle Car so ripping it out is not an option.

There are a few things that need attention but for the most part she is close to showroom condish.

If you buy it on-line shipping charges will kill ya.thay clame it has to be shipped truck freight at least that it what classic indusrties say's.i got mine from the local chevy dealer for $52.00 and no shipping charges.I guess there good for something.

Hey Don, I just pulled the insulation from my RS. It came out nice and neat in one piece. Its yours if you want it. Don't know if it will work in the T/A though. Let me know and I'll drop it by.
