Rear seat misalignment
on a '89 GTA WITH 8,600 MILES.
With both seats in the upright position and viewing from the rear of vehicle with hatch up. One seat back is higher than the other where the two meet in the center, cannot find anything loose or bent....anyone else notice this and have a fix ? Thanks....

If you have split bench then there is a bar in the center of the hump over the drive shaft. The bar goes through though the top of it horizontally and that is what the center of the seats are attatched to. I would assume that either this bar got bent, the mount on the seat was bent somehow, or maybee it just popped out of place. Only real way to find out is to remove the seats and check. Take the bottom bucket out by a bolt that is in the center in front of it and then youll see the bolt holding the top seat in, just remove this and the seat should pull right out.
