hmmm, i never thought about doing it that way, i put mine inside the door, under the latch....works perfectly, since it pulls the latch, dant get no better then that

I dont know who was running your wire in the pic but you put it inside the arm rest mount and three screws go right in there. Not saying a short would happen but your asking for one. I would do something with that wire.

I was pondering the same thing! The armrest might also not fit right!

The wiring on that was just temporary so it wasnt hanging around while my door panels were off, it'll be relocated.
